Welcome to my new blog (well, really my first and only blog) :) !! It is my goal to use "Breathtaking" to document all of the wonderful and breathtaking moments God continues to bless me with.
As I sit here writing this, I am only a few hours away from embarking on my semester adventure to Scotland (I am studying for the semester at the University of St. Andrews). This trip has definitely snuck up on me; it seems like just yesterday that I received my acceptance into the University - even though it was almost three months ago! Time has absolutely flown since then - with end of semester exams in December, Christmas vacation in Michigan, three weeks of working with Sinfonicron Light Opera Company in Williamsburg, and a week of shopping/packing - wow! Where has all the time gone?
It feels really strange to be leaving home knowing that I won't return until the end of May. It won't be like a normal semester at William and Mary where I can come home whenever I want (almost) and my parents are only a few hours away. As sad as I am to leave, I am really excited to have this opportunity to study abroad. I absolutely LOVE Scotland, and I can't wait to explore the Scottish highlands and countryside!
